recently, my friend tried out 40 lbs string tension.
he play for like 2 minutes, no control at all, keep hitting out. and the racket and string broke.. completely deformed, crushed sides, 3 pieces. very sexy.

all i can say is HAHAHAHA...u shouldnt expect a racquet to withstand 40lb...even IF it can, the strings wont! they are thin and are not meant to be strung at such high tensions......of course the racquet and string will break quickly!
as for always hitting out, i doubt such a high tension adds to the power, but it takes away from the feel...it will feel like a wooden paddle.

You're almost reaching into tennis tensions.

It is nice to know that there si someone out there who is always in to testing.

We expect better results next time.

Even if i own MS i would not do that.
