I have a cab7k with dunlop g force 65 string@20lbs. My clears have become slightly weaker compared to my ancient racket yonex graphlex. Also, the sound tha was produce was softer. i think the tension has decrease to 18-19 lbs. Ive been through the reviews and saw that one guy had bg 66 strung at 32 lbs. Could i do the same?

Increase the tension by 12lbs in 1 shot is definitely not a good idea. If you think your tension getting too low, consider to re-string it with maybe 2 more lb and take a try. If still not satisfied, increase by another 1-2. Taking smaller steps is better and safer than 1 huge jump. ;)

But you learn a lot faster by taking a leap as well as a leap of faith. :)

nah, LB's right, haha such a big jump would be murder. i would say go for 21-22 lbs initially, and slowly progress up if that's too loose. stringing in malaysia is so cheap anyway!

Well, it's like taking a chance, as surely nothing is 100% or 0%. The problem is, do you want to save 2-3 string jobs, but risk your body...

If we were able to string our own racket it would be OK. If we would sent it to the sportshop to string it, it sure hurt our pocket:crying: :crying:

I think 32lbs in a Carbonex7 is probably a little high, you run a good risk of the frame collapsing. Besides such an increase in tension will probably ruin your game. My suggestion would be get restrung at 24/26lbs using BG68 and see how that feels.

Even if that means hurt ur "pocket", is still better than breaking the racket, or even hurting ur joints. There's no short cuts to achieve success. You need to take steps slowly. Rush will only back-fire, and cause even more trouble down the road.

if you string your racquet to 32 lbs. you might hurt yourself. why not try to string between 20 and 23 lbs.

I think 23lbs is a good start. Only if your are ready for an increase then yeah...
