The color does remind me a little of the new ti-10. Weight distribution is even but more to the head light side. The feel when handling it is good. A little on the lighter side. Will see how it performs. Warm Ups: This racket does feel a little short even the length is almost the same with other rackets. Probably it is due to the new VFC. As usual the timing was a little off but still manageable. Suprisingly the vibration is much lesser than the rest of the NS series. Its probably due to the double effect of the LSC + VFC which absorbs the vibration significantly, furthermore i'm using a thin string which is suppose to give more vibration. I would say at the warm-up session the racket indeed forgiving. Even during baseline drives , i feel at ease using it even at such high tension. I'm looking foward for actual game time use of this racket. Game Time: Its feel kinda funny with the newly modified lower portion of the shaft, however i'm suprised by how it feels and the way the racket respond during short drives and defence. The respond is much faster and easier. The torque is there thus gave an extra power during short drives. I find it easier to retrieve smashes when using this weapon. Net play and drops feel is good but not excellent since i feel a little numb which means the information that was transferred from the racket head to you hand is kinda filtered by the VFC. However it is not that significant. Smash and baseline drives does need slighly more effort but still manageable. Conclusion: I'm happy with the much improved NS7700 from its NS7000 predecessor. The vibrations is decrease significantly from the shaft downwards. Which it does really serve its purpose. But the full potential of this racket will not be exploited for those who have a habit of wrapping their grips way up to the shaft. This racket is for all ages and definately for those who want to have high tension and yet not worry about arms, tricep and elbow aches. It is a much speedier racket and for those who is a NS7000 fan, you may want to get a hand on the latest NS7700. I would rate this racket in terms of Feel, Control, Power and Defense. However it is based on my own test and review. It may vary depending on the player, tension and what string you use. Feel: 8.5/10 Control: 8.5/10 Power: 8.5/10 Defense: 9/10 Pros : The speedy respond and vibration absorption effect. Cons: Funny looking cap, lacks a little feel. Suitability : Intermediate/Advance. alright, the long-awaited review. 1 question, what's the time over there when you wrote this??? the question that really burns for me is: how the stiffness of the ns7700 compares to the other ns or at racquets? how the head-heaviness of the ns7700 compares to the other ns or at racquets? i guess that's 2 questions then. all this is relatively speaking, of course ... oh yeah, and thanks for the review!
Was so many questions. It is head light and medium flex to stiff. Not extra stiff. Well i just finish typing this not long ago like 3.30am? . I also dont want to keep others waiting. If i dont finish , i dont think i will have time to go thru my notes.
hahaha, okok, will let you off the hook this time. medium to stiff eh, hmmmm, so sounds like maybe something between the Mp 88 and Ns 9000 S? that's too bad, extra stiff appears to be the way to go for me. Mp 100 and Ti-10 all the way!
Actually, MP-100 and Ti-10 aren't considered extra stiff. CAB 22 is the real thing in terms of stiff in the AXX .
really? well, i know that the cab 22 is supa dupa stiff, but yonex already has the mp100 and ti-10 down on their website as extra stiff. although prolly the mp100 is stiffer than the ti-10. by the way, don't you guys believe in sleeping?

To rate the speed of this racket i would say ahead of NS7000 and NS8000 but slightly slower than NS9000. Yes it is more maneuverable than NS7000.
Ants, thanks for the grat review. Where do you think the NS7700 would fall in the Yonex racquet chart? With LSC and the new VFC, I'm guessing more to the soft feel end of the chart. On the hard hitter/control axis, midway between NS7000 & NS9000S, maybe?
It only signifies that this racket is supposed and suitable for both gender with intermediate and professional skill level
