well, It's not really a recommendation. As I've never touched one (plannign to order one though)
Though various people on the form have one.
    Specs:
    Weight:82g (I'd say that's light:p )
balance point:280-295mm (~287mm, headlight in my point of vieuw)

Strung:≤31lbs ("high tension frame" or so they say)
B-Pt:665±1mm (it's only 665mm long, so kinds short)
Shaft stiffness:8.5-9.0 (flexy by my standards, an yonex at500 is stiffer)

When I saw this thread, I thought to myself, hey what about the Carlton Ariblade Superlite, lo and behold, pedro22 has already suggested it. But I give my vote of confidence to the Superlite

this would be my ultimate nightmare racquet ....
short, flexible and head-light .... hahaha ... might as well chuck me a squash racquet and be done with it! :D

The Airblade Superlite is a great racket perhaps my favourite, it's unbelievably quick and it's superb for mid and fore court shots and not bad for overheads either, the only problem I found was its durability, having had 2 of my 3 broken and also knowing others who have broken theirs as well.

I will agree that the Airblade lineup before the Rasmussen's came out were kind of poor in quality but my Rasmussen Superlite is still going strong. I mean, my Airblade has chips all over the place and the cone is somewhat loose, but the Superlite has no problems and no chips even though I have used them for about a year each.

Thank you guys for pointing out the Carlton rackets, I might give them a try considering they are rather cheap compared to Yonex

have never seen a fake carlton yet, but i guess that doesn't guarantee they don't exist. i don't think there are enough carlton experts around to judge whether it's legit, not enough research.

my advice, play it safe and get it from centralsports or something, the prices on these internet sites are very competitive, there's normally no shipping charges and if there's anything wrong with the racquet you can normally get a replacement (though you will have to pay the shipping then).
