Worth Restring???
I got a Yonex MP30 which has been used for almost one and a half year. Do you guys think it is worth to restring the racket as I suspect it will snap when I restring it. The picture show where the crack is and it is around 2 o'clock at the racket. Any suggestions?

The racket should not be used anymore because it is damaged. Highly recommended that the racket should be replaced.

ask the stringer, if he's a decent one, he'll be able to recommend what to do with it just by looking at it.

Personally i would just replace the racquet. You should never play with a broken one.

thank you guys for the advice. I think I need to get a backup racket soon. Once the string is gone, I am gonna leave it as it is risky to restring it again.

Whats the problem with the strings? If its still strung put a blob of glue on the crack and use it as a backup only. If its got broken strings the chances are it wont take a lot of tension before it colapses.

There is nothing wrong with the string and the racket is currently strung at 23 lbs.

I have found EvoStick Impact adhesive works well, apply using a dead matchstick.

Yes, Thunderbolt series racket have some really good feedback and I would either get the Thunderbolt S or Thunderbolt II but I think it is hard to get it here in UK. Got to wait until I back to Malaysia.
