    Hello @all,

since 45 min. I am looking through all different kinds of threads, but I can't find what I am looking for.

I have seen a site where yonex showed in pictures all details between a fake racket and an original.
(concerning serials, grip, branding, head, material and so on).
But I can't find this internet page again.

Can someone remember or does anyone could post the link? I really would appreciate it - even much people could have a look before buying a racket when they are not sure or before posting here the serials.

at www.yonex.com there ist only a very small information in comparing the counterfeit and the original.

Please help me - one hour google - I am tired. :crying:
    Thank a lot in advance.

    Cheers, sidney

I mean, there existed a an official link from yonex where the difference was detailed explained.

Wonder, if nobody have ever seen it...
In your given link, there are no pictures, explaining/showing the differences.

    Thanks anyway.

sidney, the official link you are searching for is this: http://www.yonex.com/img/jpg/bad/notice.jpg
However, don't bother clicking it - the page no longer exists ;)

To state the obvious, the best source of information is this forum.
One of our members also maintains an external page.
    See it here :)

Additionally, ebay has two guide pages of its own.

    Don't get conned.
    Have fun :)

Shouldn't be hard for you to use Google Translate. Best if you go and take some Japanese lesson, it's a very fun language.:D:D

EDIT: A link for you if you can't find it...

Lol Gemcat :D Don't need that either. I just look at the pictures and it is pretty much done.

What I did was I just clicked the hyperlinks in the badminton section and one of them is the genuine/counterfeit people were looking for.

The fact is that I knew it was there for a signficiant peorid of time ^.^.

One more thing to keep in mind is that the extra symbol shown in the picture only applies to the JP coded rackets.

Okay. I'll do it. I'll translate.

    http://www.yonex.co.jp/badminton/products/notice/index.html

There are many counterfeit Yonex products being sold online.
Blah blah blah, please check for the following:

First point: The hologram sticker does not come off so easily.
Second point: Genuine Yonex racquets have the logos printed clearly. The fakes have the O's out of proportion too.
Third point: The serial code is engraved and not printed.
Forth point: The end-cap's logo is very clear. Counterfeits have blurry logos.
Fifth point: For JP racquets, check for the [IMG] logo.

Sunrise is the legit distributor of Yonex ....
but please take note that many fake racquets also made a fake hologram/logo .....

Most of the so-called translator programs are not perfect! We would need a real person who can translate to this properly. However I would say the translator programs would give a rough idea about what its trying to say, with the occasional odd translated words.
