Feather Shuttles - RSL or Tronex are cheap.
Plastic Shuttles - Yonex Mavis 370 are cheap enough and very durable.

Yupp. Currently using Tourney No. 1 with some friends. Use Tourney No.6 for practise though. I only use the Tourneys in a indoor court, so I do not have much of a idea of how it perform outdoor. Both are great shuttles

i know 1 vietnamese brand,it's very durable n fast. When me n my friends played using that bird..it'll took more than a fast n a hard game to broke one of the 12 wings.I dont know the brand..but the ribbon is red.Reminds me of a garuda,or gajah mada birds in indo. It's relatively cheap as well..about 3$ per pack, compare with the indo's birds..+5$

    China brand

My group are using Aeroplane red. It's not bad, almost similiar with Gajah Mada made in Indonesia. However, the Black-Aeroplane brand is the best for advance player.

honestly i think shuttlecock quality has been going worse and worse now, even the big brand, but again, stick with the big brands for them having the volume when placing orders to the factory and able to keep the consistency somehow: Yonex, RSL, Victor, etc; btw, Chaopai red is really good but pricey)
