Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 02-Dec-2012 (A Short Report)

We welcomed Fay-Y attending her first session. We also welcomed Jennifer-F who came as an observer.
Thanking Thanh-M who sms'ed me that she couldn't attend an hour before our session.

At this session, we worked on our Doubles Games, involving the Pushshot.

Some comments:
1. Remember the concept of the "Rainbow". It would help you to concentrate on your goal/target area.
2. Realise whether your front opponent player is right or left-handed. If right-handed, pushing to his/her left side of his/her "Rainbow" is most effective. If he/she is left-handed, pushing to his/her right side of his/her "Rainbow" is most effective.
3. Pushing to above him/her is only effective if he/her is caught stranded at one side of the court. Please remind me to explain about this in our next lesson (because I didn't mention about this).

Some comments on trainees:
1. Timothy-T is required to soften his hit involved in this Pushshot.
2. Markus-H needed more precision to hit the target (problem is because of poor grip control).
3. Daisy-L showed she could manage to improve on this stroke in future.
4. Brendan-L has done well after recovering from his injury.
5. Tony-Z, being new, should improve after more practise.
6. Fay-Y, on her first lesson, fits in quite well. In fact, she performed most of the better Pushshots compared to our other trainees.
