Again, 65 matches will be played tomorrow (but there's some walkovers due to last minutes withdrawals). Here's the pick of tomorrow's matches:

MS ROUND OF 64 (14 MATCHES)
Taufik Hidayat vs Ng Wei (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- poor Ng Wei, he is drawn against the unpredictable and temperamental Taufik. It could go to 3 sets!

    Anup Sridhar vs Liao Sheng-Shiun

    Aamir Ghaffar vs Dicky Palyama

Ronald Susilo vs Park Sung Hwan -- bad luck for Ronald...I think he will join Kendrick Lee and pack up for hime.

MD ROUND OF 64 (10 MATCHES)
Ali Shahhoseini/Golam Reza Bagheri vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan -- the young pair's debut match in the WC. They should breeze through the first match.

Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen vs Jurgen Wouters/Ruud Bosch

WS ROUND OF 64 (15 MATCHES)
Cheng Shao-Chieh vs Tine Rasmussen (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- the Danes had a good run in Hong Kong and she faces last year's bronze medallist. Cheng to win.

Julia Mann vs Hwang Hye Youn

Charmaine Reid vs Li Li -- while the guys are likely to pack up by tomorrow, the girls have a chance to progress to at least round of 16. Li Li should win her first match.

Salakjit Ponsana vs Eriko Hirose -- a tricky but managable tie for the Jap girl.

XD ROUND OF 64 (10 MATCHES)
Hendry Kurniawan Saputra/Li Yujia vs Zheng Bo/Zhao Tingting (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- the Chinese just won a title at the HK Open. But, Saputra/Li will put up a decent fight.

Shintaro Ikeda/Satoko Suetsuna vs Robert Mateusiak/Nadizda Kostiuczyk -- a tough match for both pairs and I pick the Polish pair to prevail!

The WD matches first round matches have not been completed. 16 matches to be played in the round of 32 tomorrow.

WD ROUND OF 32 (15 MATCHES)
Jo Novita/Gresya Polii vs Piret Hamer/Helen Reino -- the INA pair was not convincing today...they lost a set  Tomorrow's match should be easier before the big clash with Gao Ling/Huang Sui on Wednesday.

Kumiko Ogura/Reiko Shiota vs Fong Chew Yen/See Phui Leng -- the Korean pair's withdrawal opens up a chance for the cute Jap pair to progress through to the quarter-final where an expected match against Du Jing/Yu Yang beckons.

Du Jing/Yu Yang vs Joanne Nicholas/Natalie Munt -- should be a breeze for the Chinese pair.

Johanna Persson/Elin Berglom vs Duang-Anong Arunkesorn/Kunchala Vorawichitchaikul -- both pairs are average and both were stretched to 3 sets today. The Thai pair to win!

Miyuki Maeda/Satoko Suetsuna vs Kamila Augustyn/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk -- the Jap pair to win!

Chou Chia-Chi/Koo Pei Ting vs Gail Emms/Donna Kellogg -- should be a breeze for the 3/4 seed.

Jiang Yanmei/Li Yujia vs Lena Frier-Kristensen/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- this match could yet again go to rubber-sets. I hope the Singaporean pair win!

This one should be a neat treat...both are solid..
..hmm, i still remember Eriko's very emotional moment, quite vividly, after losing to Wang Chen(if i'm not mistaken) in last yr's WC. Poor gal. Almost as if i was there giving her another Kleenex box to wipe all her tears...:p:( ..
Let's see what Eriko has learned and prepared during this 1 yr span. Will she improve on her mental approach??..;) ..

I wouldn't call yesterday a day of upsets. Most of the matches turned out the way as expected, but without it being boring fortunately. A few minor upsets spiced it up further. But overall, an average badminton day.

Wow...Hendry Kurniawan Saputra/Li Yujia just win the first set 22-20 despite trailing 19-20. So, it will take 3 sets if Zheng Bo/Zhao Tingting are to win the game as what most people predict.

The Indian pair V, Diji/Jwala Gutta have taken the second set 21-17 in their match against Gan Teik Chai/Fong Chew Yen. The Malaysian won the first set 21-18. So, another rubber game...

Zheng/Zhao take the second set 21-13.

Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing have won their first match, beating the Spanish pair 21-15, 21-8.

20-11 for the CHN pair, rubber set as everyone predicted. The SIN pair has 10 less smash winners compared to the first set, maybe the CHN pair manage to counter their smash or maybe the SIN pair is conserving their energy ?

The malaysian pair leads 11-7 going into interval while the CHN and SIN pair is fighting neck and neck again. In the meantime, Chen Hong is going to play against pedro yang soon. A warmup before a potential TH clash later.

Xie Zhong Bo/Zhang Ya Wen looks very comfortable against the nepalese pair 21-8, 7-3. Still a tight battle between the SIN pair and Zheng/Zhao at 8-8. While Gan/Fong is pulling away 16-11 in the decider

Zheng/Zhao edge ahead 11-8 at the interval. Come on Hendry!
