As title suggests, I'm thinking about switching from yonex swing power SS to one of the armortec, coz the swing power models are no longer on the market. I am not sure which one is closer to my swing power ss, the AT 700? 800DE? 800OF? and how is 4u 800OF compared to 3U 800DE? I want to spend minimum time adapting to the new one, so, please share some of your experience to me. A billion thanks.

if u buy 1, 800de come closest to the ss, u will like the 800de alot.
    if u buy 2, those 2 u suggested are good, coz that's what i got:D

Is 800OF 4U and 800DE 3U more or less the same in terms of power and control? has anyone tested them both? How much is the difference? At least the prices are the same.

technically, no rackets are the same if they are different models and weight class.

Thanks Cooler. I was just thinking if heavy 800DE and light 800OF will kind of even out, or at least make them closer to each other. It was just a funny thought, and I guess i'll try both and find out which one is closer to the swingpower ss.

Thanks again for your help, since it confirms that I'm heading for the right category of racquets.

believe "SS" Swingpower is a 90g Offensive doubles racket according to Yonex.

I tested the 4U AT700/AT800OF and felt they were as heavy as 3U AT800DE. The 3U AT700/AT800OF felt like 2U rackets imho.
