I go for 22 lbs. I'm thinking of going higher, I think I can handle it. I hear that 25 is good.

24 cross and 22 main. Good tension for control and power.

    22lb for me too.

i've tried 24lb but didn't really notice much difference in power or control.

I know many player with tensions of 25lb and over, but they seem to be constantly having strings break, which gets expensive after a while, so I don't bother going higher.

25lbs is good on my mp100 ,net play and overall are excellent
of course you have to know each stringing machine is different....24lbs on one maybe tighter than 25lbs of the other...

If you play quite a lot, I believe ~25 lbs should be fine for you - I found that most people can handle 24 lbs without any problem. However, going beyond 26 lbs should be well thought, especially for those relatively harder and less elastic string (like most Yonex Ti strings). Unless you have a very powerful wrist/forearm, your games will likely be compromised.

Depends on the racket and string.

Currently I swing a SOTX Woven 11 with MMOA Titan 0.68mm or True Speed POWER 0.69mm both at: 25/28lbs.

    Roughly:

    4U or 5U with BG80: 28/31lbs.
    4U or 5U with BG65: 30/33lbs.

    3U with BG80: 26/29lbs.
    3U with BG65: 29/32lbs.

    2U with BG80: 25/28lbs.
    2U with BG65: 28/31lbs.

im assuming your 28/31 means cross and main?

    3 lb difference, interesting:)

any reason why 3 instead of the recommended 2 i keep hearing about?

    it's 10% more on cross so.. 28*1.1 == 30.8 -> 31 rounded up :D
