Ya i believe Msian won't do that too, we malaysian chinese inherited the thought from china mainland which emphasized on 礼仪, but seem LYB and his team are forgetting about it???

i cant see how a coach can abuse the umpire.
umpire can give out red card to coach or report inappropriate incidents to the ibf

You are right, but we need an excuse to use someone as a whipping boy. The rules, to them, do not count one jot. By their rules LYB should be 'hanged'. By the rules of the IBF there was nothing wrong. It is for you to decide who is right and who is wrong.

this is hilariously funny..hahahaha...i love to hear that but i don think LCW and any other players will stoop so low to respond to that.

actually in my recollection of watching tornaments, i cant recall any other coach doing that apart from LYB (indonesian coach maybe, but they charged into the court to complain only).

i recently watched the vedeo of 1990 AE final between ParkJooBong/KimMoonSoo and TianBingYi/LiYongBo. during the second set, LYB was complaining a lot about the fast shuttlecock, keep on changing. the korean pair were just so gentleman and showed good sportmanship by allowing LYB to test and change on many occasions, no complaint at all.

Swearing is kind of OK...Since it's too common... Like Camilla Martin often shouting the f-word. But the difference is the she is not cursing her opponent.

Did LD really say this to LCW? I doubt LCW can understand that...

The best one was AE2006 final when LD swears "CAO NI MA DE B" during match against LCW... hahaa....
So no surprise hearing this from LYB

If you're cursing at yourself (in anger or to fire yourself up), I agree that's OK. I think a lot of players do that.

Why wouldn't LCW be able to understand that? I think it's already been established that LCW speaks and understands Mandarin.

Because I think that's kind of used more in northern China. Knowing Mandarin doesn't mean you would know every slang right?
