May I ask our friends from England if all three players are sponsored by Asics?

I notice both Kellogg and Emms use the Gel Rocket II while Clark uses the new Gel Blade? BUT all (including Robertson) are sponsored by Hi-TEc. What gives?

Emms and Robertson are sponsored by Carlton. I guess that as Carlton don't make trainers they are allowed to wear whatever footwear they want to (as opposed to Yonex sponsored players for example)

Just looked on GE's website www.gailemms.com and she is sponsored by Hi-Tec as well as Carlton

I know that. I'm just puzzled by her (including Kellogg & Clarke) being sponsored by a shoe company like Hi-Tec but they wear a different brand for their indoor shoes, i.e. Asics. I wokld have assumed all of them would be wearing hi-tec shoes.

Yes, you're right. I can only assume they have changed sponsors recently!

Emms and Robertson are certainly still being used in a campaign to advertise Hi-Tec trainers which is featured in the Badminton England magazine.
