    BOY'S DOUBLES ROUND OF 16
Lee Yong Dae/Cho Gun Woo vs Hu Wenqing/Zhang Yingdong -- no doubt abt it, Lee/Cho will be the eventual winner!

Naohiro Matsukawa/Kazuya Itani vs Fernando Kurniawan/Subakti -- a semi-final placement for the INA pair will be sufficient since they are relatively inexperienced compared to Latif/Mawan or Lee/Cho

Peter Mills/Chris Adcock vs Mohd Arif Latif/Vountus Indra Mawan -- the MAS pair will take it for sure!

    GIRL'S DOUBLES ROUND OF 16
Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli vs Ooi Swee Wenn/Amelia Alicia Ancelly -- the Chinese pair will be the eventual champion!

Kristina Ludikova/Dominika Koukalova vs Pia Zebadiah/Nitya Krishinda -- so far so good for the INA pair. They should reach the semi-finals.

Shinta Mulia Sari/Siti Noor Ashikin vs Woon Khe Wei/Goh Liu Ying (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- Shinta is not with her usual partner (Vanessa Neo), while Woon/Goh are pretty experienced as a pair. Should be an interesting match.

    MIXED DOUBLES ROUND OF 16
Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Hyun Young vs Hiromu Sasaki/Shizuka Uchida -- yawn...needless to say!

Jonathan Tang/Shinta Mulia Sari vs Indra Viki/Dili Puspita Richi -- I hope the INA pair can win.

Li Tian/Ma Jin vs Tan Wee Kiong/Woon Khe Wei (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- a tough match in store for both pairs. I pick the Chinese pair to win!

They have a common term for malaysian players. "Kampung Champions"
No offense, I'm a malaysian too.

Only one pair won so far - SANIRU Sanatasah/GOH Wei Shem in the XD thru' to the q-finals. The rest can take the next flight home and get shot. The only consolation is the team 3rd placing - a bronze. So much is expect but as usual, they always disappoint somehow.
