At CNH, there are 4 courts, it's small number but adequate since the number of entries are also small compared to other tournaments in Vancouver.

In the past years, we always had extra time after the finals.

    Cheers!

WOW, got some quick responses & paid registration already! :)

Last year's top champs are back to defend their title!

A few players who couldn't register last year, because the tournament was full, were quick to reply with their info.

A couple of players w/ 105mm cannon fire from 2 years ago! :crying:

Maybe I should give up my spot and get a flac-jacket on...:D :D

    Cheers!

    Lol...

Well, I am more than willing to try out the "pot luck" style food during the tournament. Oh wait, I might just set up my seat next to the food table, while ur guys killing each other on the court. :p

I'm new to the forum and saw that you are holding a badminton tournament.
Just wondering if it would be suitable for a beginner like me?

    Thank you.

That's the benefit of getting your b*tt kicked in 3 rounds!

Hi BigRed, this tournament "is for fun" but I would not recommend it if you are truly a beginner. I hate to have you play and get 0-21 for all your 6 games.

On the other-hand, if you feel you are an optimistic player with a strong partner, then by all means come & join the tournament, gain some experience along with some new friends! :)

    Cheers!

Thanks for the warning! You guys seem too strong for me. I need to practice more.
Wow M.Nguyen & H.Quan are champions for two years. What level are they, City, provincial or national. Is there anybody else who can beat them or will they win their third champion.
    Break-My-String did you play?

    Hi BigRed,

It is not for me to guess if they will win 3 years in a row, but like any other tournament, things can change, ex/ injuries that come with age. ;) They are a strong team but not "un-beatable!" :D

For last year's tournament, I had a minor injury which lead me to suffer on the sidelines watching instead of competing. :crying: :crying: :crying:

The beauty of drop-flight tournaments is that it makes you fall into the level of competition that's closer to your ability, thus the flights A/B/C/D.

As I said earlier, as long as you are not "truly a beginner", take this opportunity to have some fun and gain some experience! :)

    Cheers!

By popular request, here are the T-shirt design.

(back) yellow & red traffic signs *chuckle chuckle*

There might be some minor colour changes for the front.

    Cheers!

The first tournament had a 300 km/h logo (nice even number) as kind of a fun thingee, in which later, I decided to have the speed represent the annual tournament.

This year is the fourth annual, therefore 304 km/hr. :)

    Cheers!
