Currently in San Gabriel Valley there's SGVBC (San Gabriel Valley Badminton Club) in El Monte. Then there's LABC (Los Angeles Badminton Club), located 2 miles north of SGVBC in El Monte. But it's not going to be completed for a year or so.

Now there are rumors there's a new club opening (or opened) 1 mile south of SGVBC in El Monte, on or around the corner of Rosemead and Garvey Blvds. I asked around but no one has any specifics. Does anyone here know anything about this Rosemead/Garvey badminton club? If so, please post the info, thanks!

Finally, I heard there's yet another badminton club opening near the 605 and 60 freeways. This is about 4 miles south from SGVBC!

If all of this is true, there will be 4 badminton clubs within a 5 mile radius!!!   :p

So, does anyone know anything about the Rosemead/Garvey and/or 605/60 badminton clubs?

I don't know about you, but NorCal can match or exceed that amount. From what I seen in NorCal, Bintang Academy, Smash City, UBC, Golden Gate Badminton Club, Badminton Alley (with various of playing areas in Sunnyvale), and with many other various of high school locations with open gyms (especially in the East Bay), I think NorCal has quite a large amount of badminton clubs and facilities for people to use.

But, I've moved down to SoCal recently, so I might actually try out those clubs if I do get transportion there. haha, but indeed, it is quite exciting to see how badminton is spreading across different places in California.

On a side note, too bad there isn't a state championship for the high school level or it would be quite interesting to see NorCal and SoCal duke it out.

At the college level, we're planning just that: SoCal's SCCBL vs NorCal's NCIBL, or something to that extent. It should come to fruition this year...

..if this is indeed coming to fruition, then will this be the first time ever there's a inter-state championship involving badminton in the U.S.??..Sounds quite exciting to me..
If so, then hopefully the USBDL and USBA should take notice and promote this, maybe even broadcast the matches.. ;)
