Looking for a group or a few people to play badminton in E-Town on sunday Any time after 12:00 would be good Any groups that dont mind a new intermediate player for one day? pm me!
Depending on whether or not I'm busy tomorrow, I might be able to round up a friend or two for some friendly badminton in St. Albert if you want =p You have my MSN, talk to me on there xD
theres the chinese badminton club thats open on sundays at NAIT. i beleive they're still running the hours of 1-3 for children and young kids, with 3-5 for adult groups. check here for other sunday clubs. i don't think there are any however. http://www.compusmart.ab.ca/edba/clubs.htm you should call sunny, the guy who runs the chinese club at nait to ensure the hours are accurate. the university also features open courts in the universiade pavillion/butterdome, and e19 on sundays from 9-4pm, usually.
nope, open to public membership and drop-in's (costing 4 dollars). shuttles are supplied, obviously (mavis 300 plastics). i dont' think edmonton has any real "drop-in's" with feathers.
yeah, sunny is pretty anal about non-kids in the 1-3pm session. concordia is also open on mondays from 730-930pm for drop ins... ua should be pretty easy to get to... if your'e north side, bus or drive to an lrt station and its less than 20 minutes away by lrt. its a bit tougher for the southside though since parking is a hassle. nait and concordia has their own parking so thats not a problem.
I went once on sunday during the 1-3 session... it was so crowded, plus the skill level wasn't suitable for me. unless you're new to low intermediate, I'd see if you could play at the 3-5
