Hi all, I had been using cab8 for near to 20 years, and sometimes during play, there might be chance where racket hit together with my partner, but there isnt muct problem with the paintwork at all. Recently i just bought a nano9k and had been playing it for near to a month. One thing i noticed is that the paint work is really suck. The paint work on the frame had been coming off after a few hit with my partner. Although the racket is light and powerful which i like, but i am wondering why a top end racket paintwork is such poorly finish. Any feedback from any bros who use nano9k? Thanks
It might be a bad batch. I know a couple of people who use a Nano9000, I don't know whether they are type S or X, but it shouldn't matter, their rackets, go through clashes and what and their rackets seem to fine. Sometimes, a clash won't do anything, but an accidental touch against the wall will chip the paint. Also, I believe that since the badminton racket producers have been trying to make lighter and lighter rackets, sometimes the quality is compramised for the lightweight.
So disappointed, such a top end racket...yet quality not as what i expected. Hope that it wont break or crack...
Who knows, let's just hope that the early nano 9000s don's turn out to be like the 8000 and 7000, breaking from stringing and minor clashes.
I've seen a difference in the finish between the US and TH coded NS9000-Xs. Though the color was about the same (US model a tad bit more vibrant), the finish/gloss/protective clear coating on the US models were noticeably thicker and more durable than the TH racket. But this is no surprise to me as I have had similar experiences with US and TH coded NS7000s, NS8000s, MP99s and MP100s. The US coded rackets have a more durable finish. Performance-wise, all played the same.
From my experience, the 9000 is definitely more durable than the 7000 and 8000. The real problem is with the ArmorTechs.
I agree with Sir "D" ; the paint job on the NS9000 is much better than other NS's like 7000 & 8000 & even better than the Armortec's. Even though it is easily said to avoid clashes; understandably it is not completely avoidable. But you have to have a mind set that no "point" is worth a racket!!!!
Well, it's all easy to say that too, when you're ready to smash, expecting to win a point, only to have your partner trying to backhand it out of you at the last minute. :crying:. That's how I lost my NS8K. Smashing straight into an AT500. re: paint job in NS9K. I have NS9K-X AU version, and the paint job is quite durable. The gold paint is also a triple-coat
ic, thanks for the advice. Just hope that my racket wont break easily, not really a big problem when the paint chip off. thanks aggain
