    Hey,

Can someone please help me choose a new racket. I play in division 3 of 7 in the Huddersfield league, so a pretty high standard.

I have previosly used a Yonex MP 44 which i loved, until it broke, and a Prince game tt which I didn't really like.

I play mostly doubles, and like fast smashes and to play powerfully.

I am thinking about sticking to a Yonex, but other brands like Yehlex, Fleet, Browning are catching my eye.

    Any suggestions?

The best way to pick a racket are to try them out, because what is good for one person may not be so good for another. If you liked the mp44, why not stick to it and buy another.

My budget is £60, which is why Yonex puts me off a bit, as they can have a pretty hefty price.

It has been a long time since I used the mp 44, so cannot really remember the qualities I liked best about it.

Can anyone tell me anything about the Fleet Nanopower 9000?

If possible, try to get your hand on the rackets within your budget range, and get a demo session. You can borrow/rent from local shops or from fellow club members. A light drill session is better than reading 200 reviews. ;)

hi the new fleet racquet for 2006 are fleet nano pro 1000, 5000, 3000 II, 8000, 7000. But this 2nd half of 2006 they came up with several new racquets like top power Ti30 and Ti45. for me i recommend fleet its not very expensive and it feels great. In your case try the nano pro 1000. since you love to smash!

bear in mind that all racquets are constructed with the same material "carbon graphite". its not the price that determine how good the racquet is!

anyway have you visited badminton racquets manufacturers? I visited several of them. Do you know that a manufacturer of badminton racquets manufactured several brands in the market?? try to research or visit the manufacturing facilities first before making any comment. Restaurant is different thing since the chef makes a lot of difference. you cannot compare restaurant with a manufacturing facility.
