Hi Guys... You know what? I've just discovered this photography column!?
So, consider myself new here. I like taking photos but definitely not a pro la.. Anyone can recommend what DSLR I can get for a beginner and at an affordable price?
Here's a shot that I took when I was in Phuket, in a Jap restaurant.

Hi Red... thanks for the welcome. Roughly browsed thru this place and you've some nice shots!
Any tips on how to take pics in dark places ie. in concerts and also esp with movements? I always have prob in that. Photo normally appeared to be blur or too dark... and all I have is a small 4mp digital camera.
A pic of Miriam Yeung that I managed to take.. i think this must be the best shot in a concert that I've ever had. ..but the probability of taking such a shot is just 2 out of 10.

For taking concert pictures. Depending of the situation. But most likely, With something like 70-200mm F/2.8 zoom lens. ISO 400 would be good enough. Coz there are always a spot light on those artists.

It was an enjoyable ride in the limo. The interior was great, its so comfortable and the entertainment system was great. Complimentary champagne as well. However i wish the journey was longer.

Dogs
My two lovely dogs. Smaller one is called Sydney and the Golden Retriever is called Paris.
Paris is about 1yr old now. She has a caring heart and a long tail. Its like a whip whenever she waggles her tail. She loves to play and be pampered with.
Sydney however is the latest edition to the family. She is roughly around 2 months old and she was given by a close friend. Sydney however is a spoilt dog. She is considered a house pet, meaning she roams freely in the house. Well there is no jealousy between Sydney and Paris. Paris does takes care of Sydney whenever Sydney goes out to the garden. Even though Sydney is small, she is a big bully to Paris. Anyway Paris just entertain her. They are cute and a friendly pair.
