The boat pic: This one is shot at an eye click. The boat passed us quick. I saw its very bright and colourful flags flying under the sun. It was a magnificent view. I took out my NIKON :-) quick, and point and shoot. When pressing the button, I had to make sure the flags were not overlapping each other. This is a one take shot and I dont have another chance.

I like the flying flags; and the little rainbow at the top left corner of the pic.

I thought there is one little imperfect here is that there is a little boat cut across in front of this boat, that disturb the whole beauty/figure of this boat.

Oh, for taking motionless pic. I'd like to include, as far as possible, some moving objects behind.

The Big Ben: there is an airplane flying. The Stonehenge: people are taking pictures (and this one, I have to make sure the one people dresses in white is standing clearly between the two stones).

whoopty: I am just curious, do you intentionally set the pics. to this grey and almost nil colour dark tone?... (sort of pics in those thriller movies :-) )

You can search for EXIF READER in google, but normally any software bundled with a digital camera reads the exif information. Check for "Properties" while viewing a picture.

Oh Anatolii, I've almost missed your question !

You are right. They were taken at the Haw Par Villa. There were a few changes there but not the exhibits. The management has given up the idea of charging an entrance fee to revive attendance. Now you can go in for free. However there is a small charge for viewing the popular Chamber Torture scenes.

And there is a new restaurant, tastefully renovated from one of the older buildings I believe and is very popular in the evenings, especially on weekends for promotion and birthday parties, etc.

The following tableaux show scenes of the story "Journey to the West" and the Trails of Tang Seng, the monk. Spider spirits tried to tempt and accost Tang Seng with the aim of eating his flesh so that they could become immortal:

Still lots of work to do with it. Nubs to clean, panels to line, decals to apply and of course still got the skygrapser waiting to build.

Anyway I just decided that to snap some shots of it.
u've just reminded me that a gundam expo was held in hk few weeks ago!

Dave: thank you. I never care to install any of them, so I am quite ignorant of such available utilities.

I just download and install the ExiF Reader. It is such a small and simple program. Thank you again.

If you use Firefox there's an EXIF plugin, so you don't have to save images
    first before checking the EXIF.

Thank you Whoopty; but I don't use Firefox.

And about your pictures...did you intentionally set them to dark and almost nil colour tone? otherwise, I guess, they should be more colourful than they are now, right?

I like these two sea-gull pictures. (Now I notice that, sea-gull has little red dot underneath its front beak)

(Unfortunately, the four corners of the pic have a little black-out )

Yes, I set them like that. I wanted a different look to the usual cathedral pics.

And Firefox is awesome. Try it!

Thank you Whoopty. It seems to me that pics taken by G7 are more crispy and fine than mine.

I read from web that G9 is launching soon. It is 3" LCD screen (G7=2.5"), 12.1 mp (G7=10), in-camera red-reduction (G7=nil?), RAW support (G7=nil), IMPORTANTLY, it is $100 cheaper than G7 at least.

I am tempted to have another p&s dc :-) ...
