Every time I use the 135mm 2.0, I like the picture very much. One day, I went to my sister's home to take sunbath photo for her baby in their roof, it rained heavily suddenly, I, of course, need to shelter my camera, but they still stayed there for a while. When the rain stopped, I asked my another nephew to hold the flash to take this photo. I like the water droplet very much. The next one is 100% crop.

this partial solar eclipse photo was taken outside the legislative council building in central district hk. it was a bit overexposed but that's the best i can do with my gear for regular assignment. would definately be better if i had a neutral density filter!

Nice one Red. It was cloudy where I was in M'sia so I couldn't get a good view of the eclipse. I was using a more traditional means of looking at it - pinhole.

Very sharp photo. I don't get such sharp photos form my camera. I wonder if it is because I use AF servo most of the time.

30D can be very sharp and good for portrait provided that the focus is right. I seldom use AF servo but rather one shot focus, or AI servo for moving object. Below photo are so sharp, taken by Leica 28mm 2.8 lens on 30D, ISO 100, F/4 1/125s. Again, 100% crop. No pp done.

    holy... thats sharp
hmm I gotta test my nifty fifty again as that is my only prime (50 1.8) and test one shoot AF.

Do you think zoom lens able to get this sharp? I know generally zoom is less sharper than prime.

My current setup, I separate the AF from shutter button to the button on my thumb and use AF servo. I like this way because I dont need to re-AF again if I let go the button.

the most incredibly sharp photo that i have ever taken was back 4 yrs ago when Brandon was first born.

this photo was taken with a Nikon 55/3.5 macro lens. indoor ambient light, hand-held. ISO400, 1/250s, f/3.5 (ie. wide open).

i was totally when i first saw it. this is the original image. no sharpening or any processing was done at all.

yep, we here in Malaysia can't really get a good view of it as after heavy rain, the cloud had blocked the eclipse i think.
