Dunno about that Chris. You may have walked in many alleys with other people. Should we call you 'The Batman'?

    Default ^^Hmm..^^

..the noise on a Canon 40D is also the same @ ISO 3200, so i would think 30D would fare the same.
I think starting from the 50D, 1D MkIII, 5D class, image clarity/noise factor @ higher ISO gets better..........i can't wait til prices for a used 1D MkIII drops...

For AChan's lenses, i'm guessing only the 28mm is the Leica lens. I don't think Leica has a 135mm @ f/2. The 135mm most likely is a Canon lens.

.."The Alleyman" might sound more intriguing..

I suppose 5D is better than IdMKIII in this area, but no chance to do the comparision.

when compared to 30D, yes 5D has cleaner files at high ISO. The colour really is very good.

The other day I tried 5D... (old 5D, not the 5D2) and even that one I can see the difference... man so tempting... unfortunately have to save up money for other commitment

Old 5D is not something you want for badminton so don't be tempted. 5D Mark2 on the other hand...

Here's something from Hong Kong. Silentheart will know what's going on....

the story behind the paper cranes can be found here.

a young girl exposed to the atomic bomb was diagnosed with leukemia and believed that if she could fold 10000 paper cranes then she would survive. she died before achieving her goal so every year people fold cranes in her memory.

That is amazingly sad and poignant.
