    That's why I said cycling is still the 'most expensive' of my hobbies...

    But part of the problem for your side of the globe is that imported Aussie sports equipment are heavily taxed and that there is a sort of cartel oligopoly on pricing within the country too. As far as I know, prices in South-East Asia in general are between 10-50% less depending on part in question.

    even with 10-15% discount it will still be more $$$ than both of my bikes hahaha

    Oh, no.. I really mean 10 (ten) ~ 50 (fifty) % ....

    Especially the higher end, off season MTB stuff.

    I've only been on that concrete monstrosity once....was disappointing because from a sedan you can't see over the wall.
