This is why I love BC/BF. Both my interests are featured here; Badminton and Photography (though I not that good in photography). Will try to post some of my pictures after I figure out how to in BF.

This was at the Oktoberfest in HK. It's an annual event at one of the hotels. They have a group of performers "(one is this guy) fly in from Germany and this is one of them. It's very popular (that Saturday many of the long tables were booked).'Some of the audience get involved in games up on the stage.
We drink alcohol, have German type food and generally be merry. Many children come (though they don't drink the alcohol)

German food? Do you all tried the dumpling? I heard that it is very filling. How about other meat as German like meat a lot.

Yup, I tried RAW this time. Due to the problems with my computer, I only had DPP. Managed to adjust the colour balance but the hands on the accordion look a bit overexposed.
1st pic was with the flash but it wasn't very good. I was using flash for other shots trying out the "dragging the shutter" technique. Those turned out OK but could have been better. Satisfied with the first attempts though.

The Old Star Ferry Pier Central
12 hours later from now. It will become a part of HK history. That's the old Star Ferry Pier Central.

there hasn't been any chances for badminton photos lately. next weekend there is a big local tournament going on but unfortunately it happens to be my friend's wedding. the bride of the wedding asked me to take some pics of her makeup trial in preparation for the wedding, here is one photo that i particularly like.
