from a photographer point of view. i love that kinda shot kwun. we can see all details of her face!
but perhaps girls just don't like it at all! that's why most of the girls love their shots with a softer!

Hey Tracy, A reclamation project has been taken place. So the Star Ferry Pier was moved few days ago. The old one will probably be dismantled along with it's clock tower. Roads and commercial buildings will be built instead.

..hmm, heard abt it here also in the news couple days ago...I haven't been to HK, and (correct me if i'm wrong) eventhough they'll move the pier a few block down the road, it must've been an emotional day esp. for the HK residents who have been "attached" to the well-known pier for quite a long time..

BTW, red00ecstrat, that bright yellow pic, of the sunset/sunrise sky, you posted above, made me squint my eyes looking at it the first time..hehe

Thanks red! Here's my first attempt to upload a photo. This shot was taken last august 2006 when my family visited Niagara Falls. Using a Nikon F55 film camera, I just stopped walking and took this picture. I tweaked the photo a little to add some softness in the foreground.

Tracy, Thx very much. But saddly, u won't be able to see a "living" old Star Ferry Pier Central in your visit next month.

Ants, That was an old pic that i took few years ago.

Chris, U are absolutely correct! that old pier was one of the icons of Hong Kong. U might probably saw some old pictures of it's clock tower with taxi and rickshaw in the foreground.
As for the sun picture. What do u think? Sunrise or sunset?

Oggie, Not at all! It looks like a paradise to me. Keep posting.
