Anyone up for a Sunday afternoon walk?? I would rather be hiking today!
..i don't really know where to put these pics, but any of you guys know where or what this place is??(if so, mind sharing your experience?)
Or for that matter been up(and down) to(from) that place??..That's a pretty demanding trip, to say the least, don't you guys think??..hehe
1. First - Lets take the tram up to the start of the trail.
2. Now follow the path.
3. Be sure to hold on to the "railing".
4. Keep an eye on the person in front of you.
5. Be very careful when passing someone going in the opposite direction.
6. Now just up a few steps (they are on the left in the picture).
7. Gets a little steeper here - so put your toes in the holes.
8. A few more steps to go.
9. Finally in sight.Last edited by ctjcad; 11-28-2006 at 11:55 AM.

omg Chris, this place is really interesting.
Looking on the pics could scare someone already.
Is it 100% safe? I think this place is somewhere in China.
Maybe it's Tai Shan, Er Mei Shan etc.........???

Yup, was there on Monday. Exposure quite difficult, taking the photo with one hand is even more difficult (holding a 2 yr old in my left arm and camera with my right hand). I found spot metering more useful later on. But that was after this particular show.

wao, you can hold it very steady with only one hand.

Here is one with spot metering. Same show as the one Ants put up. I think my position is not as good as his was. I had to +1EV

really nice pics! just as tracy said. it looks like just another place rather than the earth!
great jobs with slow shutter speed! did u use nd filter for those shots?

no filters were used for these shots. Although I do need a graduated ND filter badly. Shot two frames for each shot, one exposed for the sky and the other exposed for the foreground. I blended the two exposures in Photoshop to create what you see here...just an acurate representation of what the scene looked like to my eyes
