How about
50mm f/1.4 1/60 using a 50mm f/1.4 AIS on my D40 so no metering or AF
(handheld, indoors and low light)

you did very well at f/1.4 and handheld.

the bokeh of the 50/1.4 AIS looks much creamier than the AF-D!

no flash, that's a reflection of the ceiling light. Very late 70s I think.

ah, thankyou, 1971, you were spot on. Fortunately I didn't have to dismantle anything to get the serial number because I had a note of it from a previous service.
