Carlton Strings
I bought a Carlton Airblade 900 at the beginning of October - last night in my third doubles match with the racket I broke a string with a smash!
I know plan to get the rackets strung in Yonex BG85 - any recommendations on string tension?
Thanks

RE: Carlton Strings
The Yonex BG-65 isn't the best string for smashing..... If your planning on getting your racket restrung with a string good for smashing, string it with a Yonex BG-85 @ 22lbs. YOu've have lots of fun smashing the hell out of your opponent.......

I think BG 80 or BG 85 are good strings. I think Carlton Xelerate X67 is a good string as well. But whatever string I use, I personally string them at 24lbs because I think that 22 is still a bit too loose for me. Just personal opinion really so in short, what I'm saying is that you should find what tension suits you best but I personally recommend 24lbs.

We dont know what you are looking for in a string. If you want BG85 get it strung at 25lbs, It will drop 1lb - 2lbs after a few months
If I could recommend a string for you it would be BG 80 at 25lbs
