Some nice and interesting pics here. Since we do a "Guess Who..." on the main pages, how about a "Guess where..."? Guess where this is?
..i think it should start with a 'V'(sorry, the architecture, esp. on the 2nd pic looks so familiar)...
Isn't the building the Guggenheim rather than the Venetian? Never been to Las Vegas but did read about the exhibition. It seems an odd thing to come across in Las Vegas; I thought there was nothing to do there but gamble!
wow, when you have to resort to gambling to fund your racquet fixes, you know there's a problem. but then again, dan's case is rather exceptional ...
Must be amazing...a whole city dedicated to gambling! It all looks so clean from the pictures. I guess if you're caught littering a couple of men in dark suits called Vinnie and Marco will come and give you a free one-way trip to the desert!!
LOL! If you have not been to Vegas, I assure you, it's the Venetian. Vegas has so much more to offer then just gamble. But like Kwun, I don't go to Las Vegas much either. These pictures were taken in 2004, when I went for the SEMA convention. The first picture below is definitely not the Guggenheim.
A bit off topic...Other than gambling.. ...they also have a "new" international airport there, and half or nearly half the restaurants over there, esp. in the hotels/casinos are buffets(all you can eat/gorge)..So, other than gambling and feasting the buffet lines & see a few shows, there's really not much to do there.. Anyhoo, the beneficiaries of L.V. are the people living in the nearby states(ie. CA, AZ, OR., UT etc.)..And i believe they are expanding and in the process of building another huge complex of new hotels/casinos/restaurants in the area.. **Dan, those are very nice pictures!-very sharp images & colors..
I went for the Clean Show 2004 in LV. It was so freaking hot and dry. Chinatown was a like strip mall .
