    Hey there everyone!

    I'm Amante Reale from Malta. I'm 20 years old (21 next week ).
    I played badminton for two years when I was 12 or so... and I was pretty good. Then I stopped for some reason which I can't remember and I missed it.

    But I never knew how much I missed it until my gf told me we should pick up a sport. I immediately told her "hey! how bout badminton? It rockz". When I went to practice, the coach put us with a group of kids not older than 14 -- which kinda sucks -- but you know, I need some running in and my gf is still a beginner.

    Soon as I picked up a racquet and started working with the shuttle-cock I realized what I loved about the sport. I know I won't put it down easily now that I've rediscovered the joy of it all.

    The problem is I have training once a week and there's nothing like a casual place to train badminton when you don't have practice in this god forsaken island... so I have to train with a wall between sessions. :/ *sigh*

    Welcome to BadmintonForum, m4nti ... Malta? Some member here (Marky) posted a picture of Malta when he went there for holidays. Glad to have an actual Maltese on board.
