The selling price of SHB65R is at this moment higher than SHB90 in Hong Kong but it is the opposite in Japan (according the Yonex's website). So I am still hesitating.

Found this on Yonex Japan's website, it seems like there's a manafacturer's defect or something, maybe someone can read it.

a friend gave me a quick concise version!
apparently theres defective batches, shb0610, 0611, 0612, and 0701.
these shoes had poor bonding between the midsole and outer sole, and the material may peel apart with use, resulting in possible injury. this was recognized by yonex in march and a recall notice was sent out. people can return the shoes to their origin of purchase.
i guess this explains why when i was asked to order two pairs of them on shuttlehouse, they told me they weren't going to have stock till late may.
the seller on ebay by the username of "iooho" has SHB65R's of size 27cm and 28.5cm currently have stock. but i'm assuming they are of the defective batches. so i would avoid purchasing the 65R's from her.
her other shoes, shb897, 99's, and 100's however are seemingly geniune and good products.

So is the "SP" version defective as well??

i think the only way you can check is by reading the labels inside the shoe.
look for the label beside the tongue, somewhere. it should read shb0610 or something similar.
if it has one of the identified batches as noted below, it would potentially be defective.
