Hi....I am a intermediate player trying to play more serious in badminton....I dont have a good racket yet...I have my eyes set on a more offensive type racket...(Prefer Yonex brand)

Carbonex 21 seems very prosmising for its price...but is it REALLY fragile?...I wanna string it to around 21-22 lbs...will it break easily ??

If possible, I would also want suggestions from you fellow members. Any suggestion for a Offensive single racket?...well..double works too...in fact, if both works, thats the best....hahah but mainly offensive...!..

    Thx~!!!

hmmm i never tried the cab21..but i really dont think a cab would break THAT easily..unless the stringer is ****.. but if u want a good offensive racket.. i think armortec 300 would be a good start

I don't think Cab21 is fragile. Well, at least from my experience it is not fragile. Perhaps some earlier batch of Cab21 was fragile (due to manufacturing defect?) like NS8000.

there should be no problems stringing a cab 21 @ 21-22lbs. mine's @ 24 lbs and it's been fine for a few years now.

In general, the cab series are pretty strong and less known to be "fragile". However, which racket really fits for you regarding to playability, it's really down to the player him/herself. If possible, get ur hand on many rackets (borrow/rent from local shop or fellow players), and demo them. Then, pick the best one within your affordable range.

Cab30ms is a great all around racket, which packs a lot of power, if your stroke is correct. Definitely worth a try. ;)

I have 4 cab21's.. i string some of them usually with bg66(main) and bg85(cross) at 24x26 respectively. NO problems yet... been using that tension with the same rackets for about 3 years.

the cab21's are slightly slimmer in frame and shaft than other racquets (another slim racquet is the ns8000 for example), so that might present a possibility for being more fragile, but i haven't seen anyone have problems with them yet.

if you're afraid, you can go for the cab20 or the cab22 as alternatives...
