I saw it on sale at Sport Chek for $100 Canadian. Is it any good for doubles? Please give me your opinion if you have tried it. Thanks!
I asked almost the same question before, and the answer I received is that Sportchek majorly overprices rackets. They were selling ISO-250 Long for $180 in ours, (not on sale). With that price, you could get a better racket from a more specialized store.
personnally, i don't think iso250 is a good doubles racquet, simply cuz of it weight. i think sportchek only sells 2U(90-94g) racquets(i could be wrong) for iso250. for that similar price(100$cdn), i'd suggest getting a iso500SR. you can probably get that at a cheaper price at specialised racquet stores, cuz lots of them dont' charge tax, or strings, or stringing labor, which will turn out to be cheaper, even though the frame is more expensive. anyways, that's just my opinion.
Thanks! I tried iso900SA before but I didn't like it. It was too light and too flexible. For the same price, maybe I should buy iso500 SS? The iso-250 looks nice though and the shaft is made of HM graphite.
