It's official now. Kim Dong Moon has joined the Calgary Winter Club as one of the badminton professionals as of Oct 1st.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what he's like in person on the court instead of just watching him on DVD's. :D

Private lessons are $ 70/hour OMG.

$ 150.00 /hour? Shusssh ! lets not give anyone ideas.

Besides, I don't think anybody would pay that around here no matter who they are.

hahaha, about time. I'm sure there are enough parents chasing him down for private lessons for their kids, even on golf course lol

CND$70/hr is a very reasonable (or low) price for a world champion level of coach. Personally, I think int. to adv. level of players should be greatly benefited from the program, if they can attend his sessions in a consistant basis. Beginner lvl does not gain much more benefit from KDM than other reputable coaches, as they have a long way to go in fundamental trainings.

In NYC, all the private coaching program charges around that price...

the club likely takes in 50% of that fee so kdm doesnt really gets all of 70$/hr.

$70/hr isn't much, compared to the $10-20/15 min figure skaters may pay for private lessons.

I'm envious of all the Calgary players that are able to take private lessons under him :D
