There are quite a few stars from HK/TW, used to be pro athletes, before entering the entertainment business. Sze Yu might be the one achieved the highest level during his sports career. Another one i can think, is Yu, Xiaofan (chinese pinyin), I believe she used to be a volleyball player. ;)

Mr Sze Ning Ong still is coaching

    .
So Mr Sze Ning Ong (the father) is currently in Brisbane, Queensland. He has been everywhere in Australia.

The last time I caught up with him was when he was coaching at Newcastle, in New South Wales, and then Altona, in Victoria.

Yes, he is a really nice guy. I remember back then that a group of us from UNSW were going ice skating at the new ice rink at Macquarie Shopping Centre. We invited him to come and skate, but he declined as he did not want to risk any possible injury to his ankles. However, I remember that he did pop in to see us skate. Here is something I found some time ago, cleaning out my magazines.

The front cover of Badminton Sidelines magazine

and then page 5 of the magazine.
