I've noticed that at different tensions, slicing the bird seems to be easier. I currently use NS 8000 w/ BG 85 @ 24lbs, i find slicing is okay but not the best. When switching to my friends MP 100 (dont know his strings), it feels easier to put the spin on the shuttle, especially doing backcourt net slices. I would like to know if anyone has experienced similar problems, if so which string/tension did they find to be the best for slicing?

i impart slice on the shuttle frequently for drives and back court drops.
for drives, i felt lower tension yielded better results, while higher tension felt better for rear-court slicing.

    i don't know why!

    this was both done with bg66, bg85, bg68ti, between 23lbs and 26lbs.
if the factor of tension was ignored, bg85 felt best for slicing, followed by bg66, then bg68ti.
