I went to this place tonight and had an awesome time!

I'm told that Thurs are the busy nights, but tonight it was practically empty. 8 courts total, about 16 people showed up, but all was decent calibre. I had some very good games, people I played with are probably OBA C level.

Thanks to everyone that I chatted with, they were all very friendly, including Stephen!

    FYI...

    congrats!

    Hey Stephen!

Congrats to being the coach at Centennial as well as putting in the extra time to open badminton sessions on thursday and sunday evenings. The more places to play badminton, the better!

Is the 1hr appearance sundays at GB going to continue being a regular thing??

i think it depends... there are a few good C players there last time I went, so I had some good games. That's probably the highest that you'll see, no A or B players. There's not a lot of players on Sundays so don't expect a lot of mix of games.

I know Stephen is there, but I didn't see him play, so not sure what level he's at... if you're REAALLY good, maybe he'll actually put some badminton shoes on for you... lol...

    Hey ibm88,

I've been looking for a place to train weekdays for OBA events (singles). Is there much singles happening on Thursdays at Centennial? Is there a lot of waiting between games? What sort of level are the singles players? I'm a half-decent B level.

    Thanks.

If anyone else knows good weekday or Saturday places for sigles, I'd appreciate the suggestions.
