Guildford / Woking - regular games

    Hi,

    I'm new to Guildford and looking to pick up badminton again after several months break. I'm up for anything - friendly regular games or inter-club competitions. I'm just really eager to play again.

    So if you're looking for an extra player, give me a shout (please :crying: )

    There is a club on tuesdays from 8-11 pm at woking leisure centre. The club is not in a league and the level varies. It costs £5.10 and plastic shuttles are used.

    Thanks for the info.

    On a normal evening, how many games can you expect to play there? Do the people there mix about i.e. have games of doubles and mixed doubles and with different partners?

    On a normal evening there are 4 courts available and they are usually full with a further 2-4 people waiting to play. There are mixed doubles but very few ladies play here, maybe 2-3.

    Hi,

    I too am new in the area and lookign for a group to play with. Prefer doubles and am of an intermidiate standard. Let me know if you find anywhere in woking as i recently moved to goldsworth park.
