Crack sound?? Um, not sure if you can call it a crack sound but i restrung my Ti-7 with a BG-65 Ti at 23lbs and it seems to make a cool sound. Not sure if you can call it a crack sound though, i would describe it as a metallic sound

Crack or a pinging type fo noise? Seems normal for all strings when it's new but it will go away after a little while. It sounds like a air fulled bag being poped.

Well not really new at all. Can't really call it old either, depending on the condition of the string. Lets say it's ok. It's a good idea to change your string every 6 months if you play regularly, if not then change it every year.

Wahh ..... you guys are really thrift in that area aren't you ??

Usually for me, say when I was using BG-66, it lasted me about 30 hours of solid playing ? That's about 1~2 months only. Not that the string breaks, but it starts to fray quite a bit ( rather badly actually.) and I just cut it to make sure it does not snap when I need the racket the most.

Ok, I forgot, if you're using BG-65 or BG-43, they last 'forever' .... I had one on an old racket for like 7-8 years already ( but I hardly use it) and its still in decent shape .... !! But I've not used that string for a long time already as I find it not to my liking anymore actually ....

Yes, a lot more than most people actually. But its very dependent on your style of play as I mentioned. And also how hard you play the string and your tension too.

Its usually 4-6 hours a week. But the record was to date this year has been 12 hours !! My all time record of course was during my school days standing at 16 hours in a week, when training sessions meshed with some games with my other games and some other games in school. Considering that I was still only a student and not a sponsored player !! :p
