Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari/Lin Woon Fui -- any match involving INA vs MAS MD pairs are always exciting and usually ending in rubber-sets. Kido/Hendra have a good record against the MAS young pairs (Gan/Zakry and Fairuz/Lin), so, they have the edge!

MIXED DOUBLES
Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen -- tomorrow's match is the 4th meetings in the space of less than 2 mths Nova/Butet triumphed in HK and Japan Open, while Xie/Zhang beat them just yesterday in 3 very very close sets 23-25, 21-19, 21-19. It will be close again...and I hope Nova/Butet can win...and build that psychological advantage since they are expected to meet again in the Asian Games.

Lets just hope both MD pairs play consistent games which they seem to have problem with as they are young. Indoensians will win as Malaysians have yet to show they can win in the final based on history.

Chen Yu is a very solid player but somehow is never given the opportunity to play important rule for Team China, my guess is he's just not the fovaurite of coach Li. Don't be surprise if Chen Yu beat Lin Dan as Lin Dan usually doesn't play that well against his own team mate.

Consider the fact that Chen Yu has beaten both LCW and CJ twice this year, took both PG and TH to a close 3 setters, he proved that he's got what it takes to win. However, LD has proven that he is indeed better than the rest of the top players this year, so it will still slightly surprise me if CY manages to win the match tomorrow. I always knew CY is good... just lack the opportunity to really shine(especially since he missed world championship at ranking #11... while others far behind him could go.)

They both play somewhat a similar style, if my observation of CY's match against TH in Indo Open is correct. So it may come down to whoever can control the other better and attack more often with precision.

Chen Yu is good player, but I think Lin Dan is better than him.

i only got a glimpse of chen yu from china open. He semm to be a a power player(not 100% sure yet). I think LD can handle CY. From my pyramid, speed beats power.
