I would like to seek advice on how I can check whether my strings require restringing. How do I know whether the strings are no longer in good palying condition?
I change my string when i feel that my string are beginning to lose tension. Most of the time i change when it snapps..
Ok, I've nv snapped my strings at all but I can really feel that my strings are wearing off. But is there a proper way of determining? Like when the strings start to shift off course after a few shots.
there is no proper way to know unless your strings snap or you feel your tensions dropped too low (you should have snapped your strings by then). if you feel that you need a restring then go restring, thats the best way. btw i think you use bg 80 correct? those strings are awesome at holding tension and play well to the last shot i think you shouldn't waste them and just play hard with them untill they snap.
Very good advice on stringing can be found here: http://www.tagsports.co.uk/restring-facts.htm "As a rule of thumb, you should be looking to restring your racquet the number of times a season, as you play in a week!"
Besides when string is snap, there's no general rule about when you should re-string. It's down to your own feeling and wallet, see whether you think it's time for a change.
my string will be repair whenever my bf [is ex-bf now...] feel like to change it... but mostly change every week.... change different color too... i hate the pink string... too girly~
