This summer, when I was in China, I instantly fell in love with 2 things: badminton and karaoke!

We went with relatives and family into a karaoke room and sang the night away. Since then, I have fueled this passion by singing everyday.

I love singing in both english and chinese, if there is pingying. I don't know how to read chinese .

Does anyone else also enjoy this passion?

I'm Filipino and we just love singing. Every Filipino household I know must have a karaoke machine. I got one of those machines that plays a special DVD disc that contains 30,000 songs.

Yes, I went to Phillipine 3 years ago to visit my friend. I was surprised that karaoke was so popular. I can find people singing karaoke every where - in flea markets, arcade game stores, and every household we vistied - same as pool also.

Try to pick up a bit of Hokkien and learn the words to Ai Bia Zha Eh Eia (Must Work Hard To Succeed). Good song that'll get the entire room going. :)
