What, was THAT? Did a search on the forum for 'ghosts' and disappointed that in the 3 years of existence, no such thread existed! Ever heard, felt or seen something you just cannot explain? I had one such experience on August 19, 2005, a rather interesting date if I must say. Posted first on RAWK: Don't know if this qualifies, but what the heck. Just came back from work just an hour ago from the office's computer lab. It was already almost 6 pm and it was deserted. Nobody else was in except me and if anybody is nearby you can hear the footsteps. Locked the adjacent server room were some of the stuff are kept. Seeing that a couple of PCs are still one, so I went to turn them off while picking up an AVR which was spoilt, next to the computer. That moment I heard the doorknob of the server room rocking, as if someone is there trying to open it though it was locked. As I stood up, it stopped, my eyes looking at the door, trying to see (rather not) if someone is inside but heck, nobody else was within 20 metres but myself! I felt both hot and cold as the heart beat like mad, did the Lord's Prayer and locked up, left. The office building has had it's fair share of such stories but I didn't thought I would experience one!
hmmmm.... wilfredlgf - you might become the first BF Urban Legend... maybe tonite, it will come closer and touch you... or something even more sinister..... woooooo.... spooky... don't watch any video tapes, and don't pick up the telephone...

This is one from a friend of mine One night he was driving with with his girlfriend and they noticed lights coming from the carnival located in an open field so they decided to go and see what kinda games and attractions it had As they got closer, they soon realized there was no carnival... yet both of them saw the lights and both said..."let's go"
When i was young, i always feel scared to watch those "alien attacks earth" type of movie. I was really afraid that one day, i would be captured by the alien battleship, and they will plant some un-known devices on me, and make me a half human / half animal stuff. One day, i was looking through the window. I saw a shiny light green object slowly moving about 10-15 meters high above the ground - right in front of my window. It looks like an egg, but with strange color i can't describe. I was stunned there for several seconds, and even forgot how to run away, then the object just boost up speed, and disappeared. 2nd day, newspaper pulished articles regarding to this, as quite a few ppl observed the same object as I did. Ok, I hope they did not take any pic of me, and come to back to me one day. :crying:
wilfredlgf, I heard some ghost stories from Maly and Indonesia...I am not sure is it really true..But I saw this chinese magazine was talking about they see ghosts in pictures which was taken in Indonesia
What Lies Beneath a forwarded msg to me... "A relative's family went to G, and got a room at the N W Hotel. You know, being Malaysian, it wouldn't be just two person for a twin sharing room. We would cram in as many people as possible. So did the family. Doing that, you probably need to take the top matress to the floor to make up a couple more beds. Guess what they found between the matress upon removing it? A DEAD body! Apparently someone cut a hole at the matress and hid a body there! Well, G paid each individual RM1000 as "Close Mouth Fee", thus the news never appeared on the paper despite its homicide nature. So next time when you checked into the hotel room, do check the matress, between and under, inside out! Just picture this... sleeping with a body lying beneath you! And the question is, don't they have cleaning ladies (Sometimes men.) tidying the room, that includes changing the bed-sheet? Or they never change it? Well... who knows!"
Since we're all telling spooky things that happened to us. I think i might share my latest experience... It happened pretty much happened past midnight. I went downstairs for some juice because i just needed something to drink. Anyways, while i was drinking my neice's toy kitchen just turned on and started doing stuff like someone was playing with it. Except there was no one there except for me and my dogs. I ignored it and went back upstairs. This happened maybe two nights ago?
Well, I posted a topic like this on a tech forum a few years back and had quite a number of replies with their stories. This is my story: Once, I saw this lady in a dress near my door singing or something and I was half awake, I was going to scream but nothing came out of my mouth. Another time, their was light at the end of my bed. I was held down by an unknown force. Then I saw a face in my ceiling. Yet again, I wanted to scream but nothing came out. I believe I was probed. =/ Also, I did some of my research a few year back and people from all over the world have experienced what I experienced above. Pretty much every night I hear doors from cars shut in my driveway. But I dunno what it is. Just last night, I saw this light under my door, and then their was this big flash and I could see a lot more clearly. Strange. I wear glasses, but I could see the time on the clock clearly.
thats just,,,uuhh1i cant find the right word! well, for me, its just every night from the room next to the room i sleep in (my dad's study) there is sound of someone turn the light on and off so it sounds like 'click', but theres noone in there, i didnt even notice untill my mom pointed it out, its like whatever or whoever that is order me to sleep and i have few more,,later
Many people have experienced it because it's called dreaming. The feeling of being held down is because the brain turns off motor ability during sleep to prevent you from acting out your dreams. You get all sorts of effects in the transition from sleeping to waking. I often wake up with an arm or leg jerk. A long time ago, I had a lot of trouble sleeping, and was precribed some sleeping pills. The first time I took them, I went out like a light. When I woke up the morning after, there was a short period when I was unable to move. That's the only time I've felt that effect. Sleep is still quite mysterious. I know someone who sleepwalks and also has nightmares where she seems (to her partner) to be awake (and talks to her partner) and is scared of someone at the end of the bed who has "come to get her"
A story from my childhood. Growing up in Vancouver chinatown in the 60's, we used to live in the alley houses. On each property sometimes there is a front house, and often in the district was also a second house on the property facing the alleyway. One summer, the front house, where a bachelor lived, we started hearing chopping noises. The chopping would last for hours, and then would stop. This goes on daily, and almost like clockwork. This happened all summer long, and seemed to go into the fall. My mom and other kids in the neighborhood used just say that the fellow who lived in the front house just went nuts, and so stay away from him and the house. Then one day, the chopping just stopped. But we still knew that the fellow was still there since lights and other noises present. One day, the back door of his house was left open. I think there must have been about 5 or 6 of us kids, and we were just plain curious to see what was in this house and how much chopping could be done. So we went up the back steps, and peeked inside. We saw piles and piles of chopped up wood and wood pieces. Then we also suddenly saw a shadow of the fellow who lived there. A couple of my friends bolted, but several of us remained, either too stupid or too scared to run. He asked us to come in... yeh right - not smart for us, but that was back in the days way before the amber alert systems. We went in, and he closed the door. Now we really thought we made a BIG mistake. But he was quite gentle, and he told us not to be scared. We still were, but we asked him why he was always chopping so much and then he stopped. We were sort of looking for places to escape while we were talking. He then told us his story. His wife in China - he found out earlier in the year left him for another man. He had been working hard, and as typical of the time, he sent all his money back to China to his wife and family. He was heartbroken and then got mad, so he decided to chop up everything he had bought and built furniture that he had intended for his wife when she would come over to live. And that's what he did, every stick of furniture, he slowly chopped up, into tiny pieces. He made us some hot cocoa and some cookies, and we chatted with him for a bit. He asked us to come visit him, as he was quite a lonely person. We visited him a few times after, but not long after that he passed away. People told us that maybe he died of a broken heart. Several weeks after his death, his house quite vacant, we started hearing in the middle of the night - chopping sounds... That was when it really got freaky... we moved away shortly after that.
A few years before i was born my grandparents lived in a house a few miles away from where they live now, and it had quite high walls with hedges on, and nothing on the other side, just a field. My grandad swears he once saw a white horses head look over the wall, even though it was far too tall for a horse to possibly look over, even on hind legs My mum also says she was using a oueja (hope thats right) board and the glass moved, so now she wont let anyone bring one into the house. I want a go!
I heard about this one, it's a famous Malaysian urban legend. I thought it's in the Pahang Apartments, not First World? More popular legends about the place: Being the only licensed casino in the country, many would undoubtly have come here to gamble and lose everything in one night of betting. The hanging bridge overlooking the beautiful forests in front of First World is a 'favourite' place to end the torment. You've guessed it, sightings of weird things on that some 100m long suspended bridge in the wee hours of the night. Not surprising nobody goes there at night. Also, there's a legend of a room in First World (the main resort building hotel) that is never rented out to customers, even when it's overbooked and full. Reason? Apparently, a customer who came to visit the casino lost everything during one session and committed suicide in there. Customers who used the room a while later experienced unexplained toilet flushings in the middle of the night, water tap running for no reason, steamed mirror with writings as well as windows opening by themselves as well as the really scary feeling of somebody sinking into the bed next to them! The room was closed permanently and placed on the status of 'Unavailable' perpetually. A non-GH story from my friend who went to meet his old pal at Westin Hotel Singapore: My friend was working at the Westin when he was younger as the runner boy or waiter one evening when he noticed a young couple approaching his work colleague. The girl was kinda sexy and pretty and him, his colleague, being a hot blooded young male (like most of us here ) went to check out them as they went into the elevator, just to see if there are hot stuff to see. As he arrived at the same floor, nobody was there but a door was open in which he went to look. The two were standing on a couch pushed to the open window, and JUMPED! He was hysterical and quickly went down, telling everybody a couple just committed suicide. There was some panic of course but for some reason, nothing. No body, no one saw anything or heard anything. The place was clean. A janitor who had been working there for many years told them, "Those two? One whom the girlk is pretty? Oh, they'd be jumping every year. Same day every time, you will see the window open and couch pushed below it, even when nobody uses it. Haih, normal la". I'd put in some of my office stories later.
