    Hi,

Hope this is the correct forum for this thread. I am just curious as to how many/where are the big badminton centers in Malaysia.

For a start, MBA, Bandar Puteri, Puchong should be the largest in Malaysia. It has 32 courts.

What about other places? Pro-One in Wangsa Maju has how many courts?

How about the one in PJ, near ming tian food court? How many courts?

The one in Ming Tien is i think 16 courts.Selangor state players train there.I play there very often when was in malaysia. There is another one in kepong Taman bukit maluri at the industrial area. there are like 20 odds courts there. There is another old one in subang behind subang parade. They have like 9 Courts there.I play there very often during my college days.

No worries. I hope in the years to come there will be more courts in Malaysia.

Oh, that's a lot of courts (in Pro-One)! I have never played there before, how's the place actually?

Also, how to actually get there? I am not familiar with the area :)

Sorry, don't know about it, but can't be too cheap. If I'm not wrong the courts are rubber courts. At least some courts, not all. I was told that the KL Racquet Club people train there.. I know it's some hall in Wangsa Maju, I think it's called Pro-One.

Perhaps the Wangsa Maju regulars can give some info on the place.. seeing I've no idea where Wangsa Maju even is. :D Some place on the LRT directory I know..

Get down at the Wangsa Maju station and start asking around

Yeah, I'm hopeless. I can only help you reach Taman Megah badminton hall, Kompleks Sukan Kelana Jaya, SK Taman SEA badminton hall, TTDI hall, and perhaps SBA hall. From my house, of course. Can't blame me, I can't drive. Yet. Hehe. By the time I get my driving license I hope I can find all these elusive courts.

*Shrugs* Don't worry, I'll help everyone who need help then. =P Be patient.

The Pro-One Badminton Center is now managed by the KL Racket Club and you can find more information on www.theklracketclub.com. The courts are all international standard rubber courts in excellent condition. The prices of the courts however are not cheap. I think it is RM 16 - 22 depending on the time of the day.
All KL Racket Club players train there and sometimes even some foreign national teams. I have personally seen the Korean Nat. Team training there for 1 week as well as John Moody, a New Zealand International.
The Center is about 10 minute walking distance from the Wangsa Maju LRT or better to take a taxi - normally they don't know where it is, tell them it is next to 'TopZeller' or the Futsal court.

Yeasterday I went to play at Sri Garden Private School - great courts, all parquet, they have 10 courts and the good thing ... IT WAS TOTALLY EMPTY ... not cheap either - RM 16.00 but you get a court for sure, even in peak hours. Don't have the number but can post it later when you want it.
