Hi, I was wondering how you would prevent deformation towards the top of the racquet head. I have noticed that when you start tensioning near the top of the racquet head the frame starts to move or warp a little. Is there anyway to prevent this, or is it normal. Right now I string most racquets 22/24 using one piece method, bottom to top, and I am using a Gamma Progression ES II+ stringing machine. Thanks.
Did this happen when you tension the cross strings from the head (top) and work your way to the throat?
It's normal. When you pull the string, the racket frame will move, it's just a fact of life. Do not worry.
not sure what kind of machine it is, but for 2pt support machine (or I should say, less than 4pt supports machine), it is unavoidable during stringing unless the tension set or the sequence of stringing change.
It's normal, just make sure to correctly mount and clamp down the head frame before you start. If so, it's going to be safe during the process, with the racket is in decent condition to begin with.
