A preparation for Kejurnas perhaps? It's an A-rated tournament and probably much easier to win than the Asian Satellites (where u would see some upcoming young Asian players and even some top 20 players). So, it's a cheap and easy way to get 1800 ranking points, esp for Purwati/Meiliana Jauhari.

    I don't think so
I guess they were invited, or they invited by Peru Badminton Association/clubs (2 Djarum players play & coach there) then play in Brazil. And that time was "busy" schedule with some players played in China & WJC Incheon.

For Kejurnas, I think they will line up Pelatnas players more in team and individual just for junior.

    Hmm, indeed..

..wow, "far place" indeed..Hmm, on that note, if they can travel all the way to Brazil, i hope next yr they can come and play in the U.S. Open...hehe:p;):)

Are those players consisted from PBSI's 2nd/3rd team team?? or strictly from Djarum Kudus??..

Btw, thanks Krisna for all the pics(are you in Brazil or those are from your friends??)..

Djarum Kudus players who trained in club only (not in Pelatnas)
Good commitment from Djarum, sent young players to some international event.

Yes I was in Sao Paulo during the Brazil International tournament. I am working in Jakarta now, but in October I was in Brazil for a business trip. Since I love watching badminton [since I was very small], so I spent some time watching the Indonesians play... Around 10 people who came from Indonesia [but now live in Brazil] also came to watch. :) Badminton, as usual, unites Indonesians....

I have been observing some of the old threads. I am quite amazed by how much people in Badminton Central knows about badminton general knowledge... such as who came from what Indonesian club and their career progress etc... How do you know all this without actually being in Indonesia...??? Badmania is in Hong Kong, Yannie is in Denmark, etc... I am truly amazed. :D

Off topic-Hehe, well, you shouldn't be really surprise. Let's call it or blame it on

(sigh, finally, able to post again, the BC/BF server got stuck for a while there)..
...the unlimited broadband technology or also called the internet..;) :) .
If one is to google, one will find there are many websites and online-resources which serve and provide many badminton-related informations from all over the world, incl. Indonesia..Just imagine this, when news broke out abt Tony Gunawan playing for a club in Denmark, we were able to get it online thru another Indonesian-based website..;)
