    Just got the shoes below for S$80, just want to give a quick review of the shoe. Less cushioning then the gel tactic BN603 but it is much lighter and faster on the move. The gel absorber pads are at the heel at forefoot area, the ideal shoe for me. Overall finish and stitching is good and shoe is not as comfortable as gel tactic as the fabric is thinner.

    Loh, most of the stores at 1st floor that carry asics shoes has it. But i warn you that if you want more cushioning and ankle support go for the gel tactic BN603 which is $119 after discount.

    I have never tried Yonex shb 99 or 98, but i have heard that the yellow rubber sole area tends to wear out very fast.The cushioning of asics gel really feels great. Maybe you can try out the yonex ones, personally the shb99 costs too much i would rather get asics anytime.

    yup, I have been contemplating whether to get yonex or not.
    shb99 = 99sgd
    shb98 = 98sgd
    shb90 = 90sgd
    maybe i'll try asics, thanks for the info! ;)

    u mean your Sotx? :eek:

    u can also take a look at the asics rocket at Champion Sports, top floor of peninisula shopping centre (next to funan centre). Sticker price is $109 before discount (not sure how much discount).

    Loh,

    SHB 99 not same as SHB 99 Limited meh?
    SHB 99 Limited is S$130 leh...

    As for the Asics, i saw it today also, alot of shops selling, S$109 discount 25% = S$81.70. In fact all the shops i went to look at queensway same listed price same discount. So you can buy from any shop lor....very nice and light shoe.

    believe most if not all of them belong to the same owner/company. somtimes you could see the staff from one shop going to the other shops to obtain sizes :)
