i have a question, recently i bought a At 700 u3g4 and the frist time i strung it,i asked for bg 80 at 25lb. I hit the birdie 4 times and the strings broke.Ok i thought probaly just some bad strings etc then the ppl at the racket store told me to get bg68ti at 23lb. I played with it for i dont kno how long...less then 4 hours and it broke. So now im really pissed and my dad brough it back to the racket store for me and they repaired the strings. O yea the strings broke close to the middle the first time(up adn down) second time it broke in the middle (up and down). Now the racket has no head heavyness at all,i compare it to my 800de 3ug4 and it has more of a head heavyness. It feels like my friends nano 7k but a tad heavier.....is there something wrong with my racket??and how do warranties work?

just in case u want to kno how much experience i have, ive been playing for 2 years

if you want, send it to yonex so they can inspect it, warranty is 6 months or 12 months, just need proof of purchase.

o yea the stiffness is less stiff then my 800de and the head shape seems to be bigger then at500,ns7000,at800(compared it with friends and my rackets)

Am I missing something here? If the strings broke both times in the middle then I don't think grommets will have anything to do with it. And how can a racket all of a sudden be less head heavy than before?

i agree with you ryeung. how can a racket lose weight or have a change in weight distribution without it being hugely deformed e.g. having half the head missing :p. i would think about changing your stringer it sounds the head is becoming distorted if it is a different size to other rackets. do you know what machine it was strung on?
