Hi, i recently just recieved my BK PCV65 and am very hapy with it. I had it strung at about 23.5 pounds, but its already been roughly 2 weeks so i imagine it is about 22.5 now. Before, when i hit the bird, the strings stay still. Now as i am getting accustomed to this racquet, my hits become more louder and explosive, to the point where you can clearly see which spot i hit the birdie with. Is this a result of bad stringing or just too low tension?

What string did you use? Also, who stringed it?

just your usual wear and tear... either string your racquet at a higher tension or stop slicing so much:p.

I think it's normal as well. After a while the strings would eventually dig which makes it harder to move. You could rise the tention if you prefer. I use around 25lb so it drops to the tention that I want it at.

try some bg 80 at the same tension, after a while the strings make notches into each other and don't move.

ya someone at my club said that it happens a lot if you hit it at an angle. But some shots u have to slice at it soo...ya. Guess i'll try bg80 next time i string it. thanks.

    it's because:
    1. ur tension is below 25lbs
    2. ur string is a good string, if u use cheap string then it wont move
so increase ur tension about 25-26lbs if u dont want the string move.
    hope this will help u.

apply wax onto your strings, get a candle and use the flat bottom to rub it on your strings, do it for both sides, this will help hold the strings in place but not a long term effect
